As of 2017, at Cleveland State University (CSU) only 15% of waste was being recycled.

Intro to University Life, or ASC 101, is a mandatory class that all freshman have to take their first semester at CSU. It features some guest speakers from different departments on campus and seeks to make students aware of the resources available to them.
We created a lecture for these new student in order to inform these individuals, who have not yet developed habits on campus, how to recycle on and off campus.
In addition to the lecture, students would participate in a card sorting activity and receive a small, wallet sized handout with information on recycling and stickers.
